Fassai Registration

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is a government agency responsible for regulating the food industry in India. All food businesses in India must obtain either an FSSAI registration or license from the FSSAI to operate legally.

FSSAI Registration and License Requirements

FSSAI Basic Registration: This is required for food businesses with an annual turnover of less than Rs. 12 lakhs.
FSSAI State License: This is required for food businesses with an annual turnover of more than Rs. 12 lakhs but less than Rs. 20 crore.
FSSAI Central License: This is required for food businesses with an annual turnover of more than Rs. 20 crore.
