The government offers special benefits for small businesses in the form of subsidies and incentives. Banks provide loans at concessional rates to help set up these businesses. However, small businesses must register under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Act to avail these benefits.

The government has simplified the registration process for MSMEs. Businesses now only need to furnish their PAN and Aadhaar cards to register.

    • Aadhaar card of the authorized person
    • PAN card of the authorized person
    • Mobile number
    • Email ID
    • GSTIN registration certificate (if applicable)
    • Bank account details
    • Number of employees
    • Business scope of the firm/company
